A marine biologist and postgraduate in Animal Welfare, has worked over three decades at Zoomarine in diverse leadership roles; was the founder and director of Portugal’s first marine rescue center for marine species, and is a guest lecturer, mentor, conservation advocate, and spokesperson for environmental causes. Élio is based in Portugal, loves chocolate desserts, and aims to help bring good ideas to life - even involving extinct dinosaurs!
